From the park, its about a 10 minute drive to the Ski lifts at Kreischberg.
Kreischberg is a snow-sure Winter sports Paradise. The ski resort is ideal for families with young children. The skiresort is apprx. 40km in length and perfect for every level. At an altitude of 820-2130m above sea level, you can enjoy 32km of slopes for the entire family and more for the more experienced skier spread out with 35% blue, 40% red and 25% black slopes
For snowboarders there is a special snowpark where yearly World Cup competition take place. Furthermore you will enjoy the fun and action on the Tubing-Arena, on the speed trap, and competition slope, at snow volleyball and much more.
A modern snow installation makes sure there are ideal slopes during the whole season.

The Murtaler skiresort entails over 160km of slopes with 58 lifts and is located at an altitude of 850 to 2,222 meters. Kreischberg, Turracher Höhe, Frauenalpe, Grebenzen, Lachtal, Hohentauern, Gaal and Praebichl form a snow sure ski area.
For these 8 smaller resorts, it is possible to buy one liftpass (Die 8 Murtaler Schiberge). With this you will have access to over 160km of slopes.

The ski resort Obertauern is located at about a 35 minutes drive from the park.
This snow sure ski resort, where the season lasts from November untill May, has perfect snow conditions. The 26 lifts are well located giving you easy access to over 120km of slopes.
For the cross country skiers, there are plenty of trails in the area. Around Kreischberg there is over 25km of slopes, and in Turracherhöhe there are about 20km of slopes.
